Trustees

This page contains information about the Library Board of Trustees of the Southwick Public Library.  The trustees are elected by the public during annual town elections in May of each year for a two year term.  For more information visit the Town of Southwick website at www.southwickma.org

The Trustees generally meet once per month except during July and August when no meetings are generally scheduled.  All meetings are open to the public and announced as posted with the Southwick Town Clerk.  Meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Room of the Southwick Public Library located at 95 Feeding Hills Road.  The building is handicapped accessible.

The Southwick Public Library is a Department within the Town of Southwick.

The Library has submitted the proposed budget for fiscal year 2013 (July 1, 2012 - June 30, 2013) to Town Hall.  This budget submittal meets the requirements of Mass. General Law (M.G.L.) regarding the minimum amount the Town has to spend to support the Library.  The Board of Selectmen
(BOS) and the Town Finance Committee (FinCom) will review all submissions from town departments, boards, etc. and present it's recommended town budget at the May 2012 Annual Town Meeting.  Information on dates of meetings for the BOS and FinCom is available from either the Town Clerk or the Selectmen's Office.
