During the month of September 2009 the Library received a gift of a subscription to Business West a bi-weekly publication. In addition the Library also received the 2009 Edition of the Business ResourceGuide published in August 2009 by Business West. The annual guide has lists of various types of businesses, organizations, etc. in the area. During the month of August 2009 the Library began a subscription to the Value Lineinvestment service. It is available in paper format at the Reference Desk. Due to cost considerations the Library is unable to subscribe to the electronic version. For more information on what is included in Value Lineclick here.
Personal Privacy Issues:
The October 2009 issue of Consumer Report Money Advisor has information on protecting your personal and financial privacy including checking your credit reports. The information is free. This monthly publication is available at the Reference Desk.
Personal Finance:
The Library has a number of books on Retirement, Income Tax, Investing and related topics. You can find them in the Library Catalog or ask at the Reference Desk for more information.
The May 2010 issue of Money Magazine has articles on how to invest today, retirement investing, etc.
