Library now offers new Job Hunting services online as of February 1, 2010
The Southwick Public Library as a recipient of a grant from the Friends of the Southwick Public Library will offer a new online service for job seekers and those considering changing careers. Selling on E-Bay
On Thursday December 4 the local Post Office provided a session on how to sell on E-Bay. The session included information on setting up an account, how to add items for sale, etc. One copy of the information provided to the participants is available for review at the Reference Desk. Ask the Reference Desk for more information.
On July 13, 2010 the Library hosted an event called Wingmasters, Birds of Prey. The event open to the public at no cost included 5 birds including a hawk, eagle and owls. It was held at the Town Hall Auditorium. The event was well attended with more than 50 people attending. This particular program was funded by the Southwick Cultural Council an organization funded in part by the Mass Cultural Council.
