The Business Center currently includes magazines, books, books on CD and other materials. For a list of business publications the library currently subscribes to click here.Please note that the list of business publications lists Barron's and the Harvard Business Review among the publications the Library receives. These subscription was donated by a local resident and have expired. In the coming months additional subscriptions may also be discontinued due to funding issues. If you are interested in contributing to the Library to fund subscriptions please contact the Library staff.
Business Westa bi-weekly publication has been added to the Library collection as a result of a gift of a local resident.
The Library is a free Wi-Fi hotspot open and available to the public. The Library also has a self-help coin operated copier (black & white and color). Desktop computers with Internet access are also available. Residents can bring into the Library Internet enabled devices (notebook computers, netbooks, etc.) to access the Internet, the Library catalog, etc.
Online research of newspapers and magazines is available from the Library or from home/office via the Library website (with a code number available from the Reference Desk). The magazine and journals available are in the hundreds from a number of sources.
Learning Express is also available. This resource assists those studying for positions in public service, real estate examinations, GED, computer skills, etc. For additional assistance with career development and job hunting click here for a product available at the Library or from home as of February 1, 2010.
