The "Friends of the Southwick Public Library" is a organization of local residents that provide financial support to the Library through various events conducted during the year. The Friends have donated funds for children's programs at the Library, purchased a computer for the Library as well as a projector and provided for other needs of the Library.

The Friends announced at the October 2008 meeting that they have purchased a subscription to the Monday - Friday editions of the New York Times for the Library.  This is now available for users of the Library.
